Having a Positive Attitude – MAKE IT HAPPEN MONDAY – Episode 15

GW here for another episode of Make It Happen Monday, a motivational minute to help you attack and win the week. 

Well, I wanted to say something today about a positive attitude. People that know me, I get up at 4 o’clock in the morning. I go downstairs in my home office, I read, I get ready for the day and then I go to the gym and get a workout in and then get to the office about 8 or 8:30. And so by 8:30 / 9 o’clock I’ve had the best part of my day (usually) over with. And, I am, by no means a good example of a success or accomplishing anything in particular but it gives me a great chance of how I try to win the day, let alone, win the week. It just sets me up for a great day and puts me into a positive attitude mode. 

Well, this morning as I was coming out of the gym a friend of mine was walking in. And, he walked in and we said hello and he said “How’s it going?” and I said, “Super” and he just stopped and he looked at me and said, “Well, I hope the rest of your day doesn’t go downhill.” and I said “Oh yeah” and I laughed and left and got in the truck.  And, I got to thinking on the way home, here’s a guy who just got out of bed because you could tell his hair was all messed up at it’s probably 7 / 7:30 and he’s already worried about the day going downhill and I’ve been up for three and a half hours and my days just getting started but, maan am I off to a great start.

So that positive attitude can really make a difference in your day and remember… You Can’t Cheat The Grind.
