Well, here at Polyenterprises it’s all about culture. Any business or organization, team or family, culture is there and its either set the way you want it which is usually good if you’re driving it or it sets itself which is usually bad. So today’s Make It Happen Monday is about culture.

We’ve been talking a lot about the five Cornerstones that make up our Homeplate Culture: Performance, Stewardship, Quality, Safety, and People. These five Cornerstones drive all actions and decisions we make here at Poly but the thing I like the most about our Homeplate Culture is the fact that you can use it at home in your personal life as well as here at work. The more teammates we get to buy into that fact, the more we see and the more stories we hear from them about them scoring which equals winning at home in their personal lives. Things like buying their first house, paying off a car, kids getting into good schools, any personal goals that they have, they score and they win. That’s why we make sure that every action and decision we make here at Poly fits one of those five Cornerstones because we know if we’re in one of the Cornerstones, we score which equals a win, Homeplate Culture and remember, no matter what the circumstance, no matter what the situation… You Can’t Cheat The Grind.
