Talking about Culture – People – MAKE IT HAPPEN MONDAY – Episode 19

GW here for another episode of Make It Happen Monday, a motivational minute to help you attack and win the week. 

Well, here at Polyenterprises it’s all about culture. Any business or organization, team or family, culture is there and its either set the way you want it which is usually good if you’re driving it or it sets itself which is usually bad. So today’s Make It Happen Monday is about culture. 

(Special Guest – Colt Ours)

My name is Colt, I’m here today talking a little bit about our culture and how special it is here at Polyenterprises. Our big Home Plate that we worry about and focus on is “Scoring equals Winning.” Now, we have our cornerstones around that and the biggest one to me is People. Those of you who don’t know, I was a veteran… I am a veteran and I had a commander (who) every single Friday before we left for the weekend would say the same thing every single weekend and it stuck with me to this day. He would say, he would rather us “try to succeed and fail rather than try to fail and succeed” and that’s something our people do very well here (try to succeed). Every single person shows up every single day trying to succeed. Now they may fall short at times but no one is trying to fail and that’s a big thing for us and it keeps us successful. And for us, success equals winning, scoring equals winning so thanks everybody, everybody have a good day and remember… You Can’t Cheat The Grind.
